Skal International, world renowned and largest professional association for senior tourism and travel executives will take place for the first time in New York City Since 1955.
NYC & Company – the New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization is delighted to announce the biggest association of senior travel and tourism executives that will bring its 74th World Congress to New York City. The esteemed call together will start on 27th September 2013, from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal. A group of 1,200 travel industry delegates from all around the world will close their annual event on 5th October 2013 back in New York City offering the participants a chance for post-Congress meetings with New York tours of the destination and NYC-based travel partners.
Tourism played a keystone in the economy of New York City last year; the City received a record of 52 million visitors who have spent around $37 billion, reported etravelblackboardasia.com.
The company said that till date nearly 900 people registered for the Skal International World Congress. The response from the global membership for 2013 Skal International World Congress has been awesome. The committed volunteer team has been working on the event since October 2011 when they won the 2013 tender at the congress in Turku, Finland.
Skal International New York is established in North America and is going to celebrate its 75th Anniversary during the Congress. Most of the Club’s members provide Congress participants with incentives to visit their businesses as tourism is a significant part of their yearly income. Non-Skal companies must first become a Club member to reach the audience.
