Korean Air will be launching A380 service between Seoul and Atlanta. The service starts from August 2013, Korean Air being the first airline to fly A380 in the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
The Boeing 777 jets on Korean Air between Seoul and Atlanta will be replaced by A380s starting with three flights in a week in August and increasing to daily departures by the month of November this year.
Korean Air’s Vice President of Marketing and Sales for the Americas John Jackson said that the Korean Air traffic between Seoul and Atlanta has been increasing steadily each year and it makes sense to invest in markets showing long term growth potential.
Jackson also said that A380 is a game changer in every market it serves. It gives a unique and comfortable flying experience.
Korean Airs A380 is best known for its 94 seat that is devoted totally to business class travelers. It features full flat beds and industries’ best IFE. Korean Air also has bars in front and rear side of the plane including a duty free showcase where travelers can test products before buying.
