Limelight, an Independent PR travel agency has been appointed by Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing to handle its UK PR Account.
Presently, UK is the third largest source in the world of travel with nine million and above tourists visiting Dubai in 2011.
Limelight has the responsibility to raise Dubai’s profile as a commerce and tourism destination in UK and Ireland with an aim of increasing UK and Irish visitors, comprising first time visitors to Dubai.
The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing announced in a recent statement that it is delighted to have Limelight on board to help in achieving PR objectives. It also informed that Limelight’s response was exceptional, impressing with creative ideas and confirmed results.
The prime focus for Limelight is to educate the travel market about the five misconceptions about Dubai as a destination held by UK customers. Those misconceptions consist how family-friendly is Dubai, its ongoing development and perceived restrictiveness, along with its cultural offering, affordability.
