The developing travel and tourism department of Arabia will showcase itself in a grand celebration of the twentieth anniversary at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) on Monday, the 6th of May, 2013. The celebration would bring in over 2500 exhibitors from all corners of the world to showcase the travel industry of Arabia.
The ATM is scheduled from May 6 to May 9, at the Dubai International Exhibition and Conference Center.
Reed Travel Exhibitions’ portfolio director Mar Walsh said that travel and tourism constitutes ‘the second largest” industry in the country which is highly significant for the economy. Walsh has also mentioned the 80 billion U.S. dollars investment that has been made for the entire travel infrastructure comprising roads, railways, and airport and that would show results in the coming 10 years.
Walsh has made it clear that the investment in the industry is on the increase from 2013 because the company ‘embraces’ the ‘economic’ and ‘social’ benefits of tourism, while it maximizes on the continuing development of the airlines.
Once in a year all the suppliers, the buyers, and the media, are all brought together by the ATM, seeking to offer them a platform where they can share information and knowledge.
