Kazakhstan’s award winning air carrier Air Astana is going to launch new services from Almaty and Astana to Kiev on 31st March and 1st April 2013.
The Air Service from Almaty to Kiev is operated three times in a week, i.e., on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday taking five hours for journey by Airbus A320 flight. The Air Service from Astana to Kiev will be initially operated three times a week, i.e., on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday taking four hours for journey by Embraer E190 flight.
The two new Air Astana Services to Russia, with Atyrau are going to be launched in the next month on Caspian Sea to Moscow starting three times in a week on 1st April and Astana to Orenburg in Southern Russia starting three times in a week on 16th April, reported eturbonews.com.
Both the services are carried by Embraer E190 flight. This comes to a total of eleven Air Astana routes to Russia.
Air Astana has completed ten successful years of operation to Russia in September 2012. It presently operates above 50 services a week from Almaty and Astana to Moscow, Yekaterinburg, St Petersburg, Samara, Omsk, Novosibirsk and Kazan.
Air Astana has comfortable forward international connections from Ukraine and Russia services to destinations in Central Asia and Asia including Bangkok, Baku, Beijing, Bishkek, Dushanbe, Delhi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul and Tashkent.
Air Astana is the first airline to achieve EU EASA Part 145 aircraft maintenance certification in Kazakhstan and it is a member of International Air Transport Association. It is the first carrier from Russia to receive prominent 4-Star rating award in the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2012 and named as The Best Airline in South and Central Asia.
