Africa Sets Milestone Tourism Events for 2013

The African Department of Tourism is all set to observe milestone events in the year 2013 to attract more international tourists. The events are to take place in different cities of Africa.

The first event to take place is the annual Carnaval International de Victoria that is scheduled from February 8-10. It will take place in the Indian Ocean tourist islands of Seychelles.

The next is the 38th Annual World Congress that is scheduled from 29th of May to 2nd June 2013. This event is hosted by the Africa Travel Association, reported eturbonews.

The third milestone gathering is ‘Routes Africa’ that will be held from July 7 to July 9, 2013. This event, hosted by the Civil Aviation Authority of Uganda together with the Entebbe International Airport will take place in the Kampala city in Uganda.

Other events that are part of the year-long milestone events are the UN World Tourism Organization General Assembly in Livingstone and Victoria Falls. This event will take place from 24 to 29 August, 2013.
