It’s hard to believe that this singing sensation, who has taken the world by storm, made her debut because of the X Factor, but she did. Since then, she’s broken the US market as well as becoming a household name all over the UK. Playing at the O2 Apollo this May, she will perform some of her well known hits, including those off her latest album, Glassheart as well as some new material from her forthcoming album that’s expected to be released later in the year.
Eric Clapton – 14.05 – MEN Arena
Showing that he’s still one of the best guitarists on the music circuit, Eric “Slowhand” Clapton returns to the MEN Arena, perfoming some of his best known tracks, including Layla, Wonderful Tonight and Tears in Heaven. It will be abundantly clear to his audience why he’s one of the most influential guitarists of all time – if you manage to get tickets, you’re in for a treat.
Journey, Whitesnake & Thunder – 23.05 – MEN Arena
As one of the most successful rock bands ever to leave the States, Journey are back to provide their audience with a rockin’ night of well-known hits, including the hit single, Don’t Stop Believin’ that has been a huge hit recently, as well as back when it was originally released.
They will be sharing the stage with fellow rockers Whitesnake, led by ex-Deep Purple star David Coverdale, and Thunder, who made their comeback in 2011, in what promises to be an evening full of cheese and rocking good fun!
